Dolls

I had a lot of dolls when I was a toddler. I clearly remember my Hollie Hobby dolls...look-a-like Sindy dolls, Fleur dolls... ....you name it (never really cared for the real Barbie dolls for some reason). When I moved out of the house I grew up in, I left them all behind. Shame, shame, shame on me. I'm still regretting it.

30 Some years later I saw a Geico TV commercial with dolls. I loved the commercial; didn't care about Geico. I still don't but I always remembered those dolls. I found out they were called "Chatty Cathy". After seeing them I fell in love with them right away.



June Foray did the voice for the Chatty Cathy. She also voiced for Talky Tina from the Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll". Talky Tina is a non-talking Vogue Brikette doll. Talky Tina had a special talking mechanism just for the episode.
